Peaches

The moment we first heard Jack Black’s genius “Peaches”, we knew we had to make the song a major talking point for seeing The Super Mario Bros. Movie opening weekend.

A week before the film’s release, we had Jack post an innocuous photo of him and his new Bowser figure. Of course, a little bit of sheet music just happened to slip into the background. Thankfully, fans knew what to do with this.

With the release of the film, the song took on a life of its own. If you have a young child below the age of 10, you already know this.

To feed the frenzy around the song in the film, we released a custom music video and uploaded the track with custom single artwork to Spotify and other DSPs.

A chart-topping hit, we supported “Peaches” by running the full music marketing playbook: wild postings in major markets, limited-edition cassette giveaways at record stores, and of course, a collectible 7” single (featuring a die-cut cover and  “Mario Brothers Rap” on the b-side).
